Hello Dreamers!! It’s been a little longer since my last post, and I’m very sorry for that. Sometimes, I put so much pressure on myself that I just want to crawl into myself and disappear from everything. I’m sure there isn’t a soul in the world that can relate to that right?? I amuse myself. Sometimes, I just need to step back and spend some quiet time thinking about what my next move will be and how the world isn’t coming down around me. That I need to ease up off myself. I like to think up creative things like for example, what kind of smoothie I want to have next, especially when I’m making my grocery list!
Anyways, I made a delicious smoothie Monday after my mile and a half morning walk with my kiddos and I figured I’d share it. It may be one you have seen before, I’m not claiming it as solely my own creation. I literally asked my kids what flavors they wanted, because I share the extra smoothie leftovers with them. It’s absolutely the least original flavor ever. I love a good smoothie, because you can really enjoy one at any time in the day and you don’t have to rush unless you enjoy a brain freeze. They also help to fill me up for far longer, I don’t know what it is, but I find I get hungry so often. When I drink a smoothie, I feel like I’m making the right choice. I mean I could be having a bowl of sugared cereal instead, amiright??

I’m a stickler for peanut butter. I don’t think I could get sick of it! Just the smell makes my mouth water. I used Peanut Butter and Co.’s Bees Knees flavor because it has honey in it. I didn’t check the sugar content, because well, I didn’t want to haha! I’d like to give powdered peanut butter a try in a smoothie, but I haven’t because the price is like $2 more. I used Designer Whey chocolate protein powder. I wished it was a bit more chocolate-y, but what can ya do?? So without further ado, here’s my latest smoothie fav and some extra pics just for fun!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
- 16 Oz Milk of your choice (I used almond and cashew milk mix)
- 1 Cup Ice Cubes (Use less or more as you like)
- 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder (I used designer whey)
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter (I used Bees Knees from PB & Co.)
- 1 Whole Ripe Banana (Use less or more as you like)
- 1 Tsp Maca Root Powder (Or any healthy additive you prefer)
- Add ingredients to blender in order listed, or as you see fit.
- Blend until smooth
